Nothing out yet on PubMed today, but the online version of Psychiatric Times (Vol. 37, Issue 2) has a review piece: "Neuromodulation Approaches to Mood Disorders" by Wang and Widge.
It has a reasonable discussion of ECT; their first bullet point is: "ECT remains the most effective treatment for depression, with response rates of 70% to 80%."
