Out on PubMed, in JECT, from clinicians in Izumo, Japan, is this case report:

This case report reminds us that ECT, with careful attention to good muscle relaxation, can be performed safely in the presence of certain orthopedic injuries. In this case, the patient had ECT with a fresh femoral neck fracture, and then 2 days after surgical repair.
This case, with review of the literature, is worth a full read for practitioners, ~5 minutes.
