ECT Testimonial in The Washington Post

Here is yet another patient account of successful ECT, this one recently in The Washington Post. It is generally helpful, but dwells on memory loss too much, and has several inaccuracies. The final line, "I've been shocked back to life," while dramatic, does put the favorable benefit-risk calculation of ECT into good perspective. 
Unfortunately, many of the online comments that were posted at the end of the article were the typical anti-ECT disinformation.
Two steps forward, one step back...
