ECT gets good coverage in this review of non-pharmacological interventions for depression and anxiety in PD.

I am struck by the fact that most authors, as here, immediately need to say we don't know how ECT works, then pick one theory among many and suggest that is exactly how it works.
Also, the important issue of ECT as a treatment for the core motor symptoms of PD is mentioned, but downplayed.
